Definition: The point of beginning is the identified point at which the boundary description of a parcel starts and to which it returns.
Example
A metes-and-bounds description starts at an identified iron pin, traces the parcel, and returns to that pin.
Keep the distinction clear
The POB need not be a street intersection. Distinguish it from a point of commencement used to locate the POB.
