Definition: The communication of an appraisal assignment's results to a client, in a form and with content appropriate to the assignment and applicable standards.
Example
An appraiser communicates a market-value opinion together with the information and analysis required for the report.
Keep the distinction clear
The report communicates the work; it is not the same as the underlying development process. A value number alone does not necessarily satisfy reporting requirements.
