Definition: The proceeds expected when an investment property is sold at the end of an assumed holding period, after the deductions specified in the analysis.
Example
A forecast subtracts selling costs and remaining debt from a projected sale price to estimate the owner's before-tax reversion.
Keep the distinction clear
State whether the figure is before or after debt and income taxes. In investment analysis, reversion proceeds are distinct from a future estate in property law.
