Your online access end date, course-completion certificate, and exam eligibility are separate. A valid certificate does not automatically keep your online materials open.
Which date applies?
- Course or product access: TSRE registrations and access generally last one year from purchase unless the product specifies otherwise. Check the terms for your purchase and the expiration shown in your account.
- Course-completion certificate: A prelicensing completion certificate generally remains valid for two years from course completion for state-exam purposes. This is not a promise of two years of online access.
- School-final retest eligibility: This follows its own rules based on the course and original exam date. An access extension does not automatically change an exam deadline.
See the current School Policies and TSRE Retake Guarantee for the rules that apply to your enrollment.
My materials expired, but I am still preparing for the state exam
Contact support before buying another course. Tell us whether you need your original course material, Question Simulator, Exam Cram, or another resource. We will check the enrollment and explain the available access or extension options, including any applicable cost.
An extension is not automatic. Do not assume that changing class dates, retaking a class, or completing a course restarts the original access period.
What to send with an extension request
- Learner name and enrollment email.
- Course or product name and purchase date or order number.
- The expiration date or message shown in your account.
- Whether you completed the course and whether you are preparing for a school final or state exam.
Submit an access request, or call/text TSRE at 813-333-2676. Include the dates so we can distinguish an access issue from a certificate or exam-eligibility question.
