If two study resources disagree, check the exact wording, edition, and context before memorizing either answer. Send the specific item to TSRE so we can review the material you are actually using.
Check that the materials match your course
Confirm the course type, textbook title, edition or publication date, and the product shown in your learning account. Sales associate, broker, post-license, continuing education, and mutual-recognition preparation cover different requirements.
An older textbook can still help explain concepts, but dates, deadlines, statutes, and rules may change. Check Real Estate Textbooks & Course Materials before buying a replacement or assuming an older edition is current.
Compare the whole question
- Read the question, every answer choice, and any explanation together.
- Check whether it asks about an exception, a minimum or maximum, a different type of account, or a different exam.
- For math, keep the time period, units, and rounding instructions the same.
- For a legal rule, check the current official source linked in the lesson or Support Center article.
If the material and an official source still conflict, flag the item. You should not have to guess whether a practice answer reflects an outdated rule.
Send a useful question or correction report
Submit a request with:
- The course or exam-prep product name.
- The lesson, unit, page number, or practice-question identifier.
- The textbook edition, PDF title, or learning-page link.
- A screenshot or exact wording of the practice item, your answer, and the explanation shown.
- A short explanation of the conflict and a link to the official source, if you have one.
If a typed response is rejected, also include exactly what you entered and whether the activity reports a formatting requirement. Avoid spending repeated attempts guessing spaces or punctuation.
Use screenshots only for course or practice material you are permitted to share. Do not copy, photograph, or send secure state-exam questions. Use the official review process in the State Exam guide for those concerns.
What happens next?
Support can identify the affected resource and route the issue for review. A reported discrepancy does not by itself mean every book, PDF, and practice bank has already been corrected. Keep the response with your study notes and use the clarified rule when you review.
