For a possible closure or schedule change, check the email address and mobile number connected to your registration. TSRE communicates weather closures by email and text as soon as a decision is made.
Where to check for an update
- Read recent TSRE emails, including spam or junk folders, and check text messages.
- Confirm that the message applies to your campus, course, and meeting date.
- Follow the revised date, location, or online-access instructions provided for your class.
If you cannot find an update or the instructions are unclear, call or text (813) 333-2676 with your class location and start time. If your contact details have changed, use the account-details guide to request a correction.
If severe weather closes a physical location
Under TSRE's inclement-weather policy, students are rescheduled to the next available class date or transferred to LIVE Online at no additional cost when severe weather or an act of nature makes the physical location unsafe or unusable. Refunds are not issued for this type of cancellation under that policy.
Follow the arrangements sent for your registration. If an offered date or online format does not work for you, contact TSRE promptly to discuss your circumstances.
If you lose power or internet
When you can safely do so, notify the instructor and TSRE. Include the class, date, approximate time disconnected, and whether you could rejoin. The office will review any missed instruction and the next available steps. See missed-class and format-change guidance.
Other schedule changes
TSRE may change an instructor, schedule, or location because of illness, availability, or operational needs. Check the latest class message rather than relying only on the original confirmation.
A cancellation for low enrollment follows a different policy: TSRE notifies registered students at least 48 hours in advance and offers a future class, a LIVE Online or On-Demand option, or a full refund. Review the current school policies for the terms that apply to the reason for your class change.
