Submit your Florida real estate license application first, then submit your fingerprints as soon as possible. This follows DBPR’s instructions and helps prevent delays while your application is processed.
This application will be submitted to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
We highly recommend the convenience and tracking of submitting the application online. However, for those who prefer a simplified approach, you will also find a link for the paper application that can be mailed.
- Apply to DBPR. Choose online services or the printable application below.
- Submit fingerprints promptly after applying.
- Monitor approval and notices. Follow your examination authorization and meet the education requirement before testing.
How to Submit the Application Online
- Open the DBPR pre-licensing application page and select Apply Using Online Services.
- Create or sign in to your myFloridaLicense.com account. If account creation returns you elsewhere, reopen the application page and select the same control.
- Complete the requested information and pay the application fee. Keep your confirmation and sign in again to track the application.
How to Submit a Printed Application
- Open this link: Pre-Licensing Application
- At the bottom of the page, Select "Apply Using a Printable Application"
- Print the Application
- Complete the Application
- Mail the Complete Application and Payment to the Address Provided on the Application.
Coordinate your education and application
You may submit the sales associate application before completing the pre-licensing course. You must meet the education requirement or qualify for an approved exemption before taking the state exam. See education exemptions and mutual recognition if you hold a qualifying credential or an out-of-state license.
After DBPR approves your application, follow your examination authorization and the State Exam guide. Passing an exam and holding an active license are separate steps.
Keep your application current and read DBPR notices
Answer the current application questions completely and provide the records DBPR requests. Report a material change while the application is pending. DBPR/FREC determines eligibility; TSRE cannot approve an application or waive a disclosure requirement.
Hearing deadline: If you receive a denial order, read and act on its instructions immediately. Rule 61J2-2.030 provides 21 days from receipt to request a hearing. A TSRE support request does not file that request or extend the deadline.
