Real Estate License Fingerprint Requirements
Before submitting your Florida Real Estate License Application, you must be fingerprinted, and the fingerprints must be submitted by an FDLE-approved vendor.
The fingerprints you provide will be used to verify any criminal background history against the FDLE and FBI databases.
To avoid delays and application denial, include all details and documents pertaining to any criminal background on your application.
In-State Applicants
If you are located in the State of Florida, you can get your fingerprints taken and submitted electronically.
We recommend Fingerprints by Live Scan, who offers online scheduling and a quality guarantee. However, any FDLE-approved livescan vendor should be able to submit the fingerprints.
Out of State Applicants
If you are outside of Florida, you must get your fingerprints taken on ink cards and then mail the cards to an FDLE-approved vendor for submission.
Fingerprints By Live Scan is our recommended vendor for out-of-state applicants.
