Your TSRE student record and your course-portal login are related, but they are not always updated in the same place. Use the process below so your certificates, contact information, and login continue to work correctly.
Update your official student record
Complete the TSRE Welcome to Class Form provided with your course. If you already submitted it, resubmit it only when TSRE Support instructs you to do so.
- Enter your legal name exactly as it appears on your government-issued photo ID.
- Make sure the name also matches the name on your Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) application or license record.
- Use the registration email that matches your course so TSRE can locate the correct record, and enter your current phone number.
- Review every field before submitting the form.
TSRE does not require separate legal-name-change documentation just to update the student record. The current information submitted on the Welcome Form is used to update the Student Registration Manager (SRM), including the name used for course-completion certificates.
This process applies to all TSRE courses, not only continuing education.
Changing your email may also change how you log in
The Welcome Form updates your SRM student record, but it does not automatically change every account or learning-platform login.
If the email address is changed in the TSRE Learn or LEAP portal, the new email address immediately becomes the login address for that portal. A change in one portal may not automatically update another portal, your Shopify order email, or a separate TSRE account.
If you need to replace the registration or login email, submit a request to TSRE Support and include:
- your full legal name;
- your current email address;
- the new email address;
- your current phone number;
- the course or product you are accessing;
- the portal you use, if known; and
- your TSRE order number, if available.
Do not send your password. TSRE Support does not need it to update or troubleshoot your account.
After Support confirms an email change, sign out of the affected portal and sign back in with the new email address. Use the password-reset option if you do not know the password associated with the new login.
If a certificate has already been issued
If a certificate shows an incorrect name, submit the corrected Welcome Form and contact TSRE before using the certificate for an application, examination, or renewal. TSRE will review the SRM record and explain whether a corrected certificate is needed.
You can review the name on your state record through the DBPR license search.
