How to Confirm Your Course Completion Was Reported to DBPR

Your course completion certificate, DBPR education record, and license renewal are three separate items. Use this guide to confirm which record applies to your course and what to do if your completion is not showing.

Which TSRE courses are reported to DBPR?

Pre-license courses

If you completed a Sales Associate or Broker pre-license course, your proof of completion is your course completion certificate. You may need it for your state exam. A pre-license course is not continuing education and will not appear under View My Continuing Education in your DBPR account.

Post-license and continuing education courses

TSRE electronically reports successful completion of qualifying Florida real estate education to DBPR, including:

• 45-hour Sales Associate post-license education
• 60-hour Broker post-license education
• 14-hour continuing education and applicable reactivation education

Reporting requires the Florida real estate license number connected to your course record. Your completion certificate is still important proof, so keep a copy for your records.

How to check your DBPR education record

1. Open DBPR Online Services, select My Account, and sign in. If you applied for your license online, you should already have an account.
2. If needed, use Forgot User ID or Forgot Password. For additional login help, contact DBPR at (850) 487-1395.
3. Open Maintain Account. If your real estate license is not listed, choose Link an Existing License and follow the prompts.
4. Select the Florida real estate license you want to review.
5. Choose View My Continuing Ed or View Continuing Education.
6. Review the requirements for the current renewal period and compare the required and completed hours.
7. Expand or scroll to the course list and confirm that your TSRE course and hours appear.

Important: Your license expiration date alone does not confirm whether education was reported. Review the continuing-education details for the actual course entry.

When will your hours appear?

TSRE electronically submits qualifying post-license and continuing-education completions to DBPR immediately after successful course completion. Your TSRE completion certificate will be provided no later than the next business day.

Allow 48–72 hours for the reported hours to appear in DBPR Online Services. Updates can take longer near a renewal deadline because DBPR controls when its portal displays the submission.

TSRE's normal submission process is faster than the maximum reporting timelines allowed by Florida law. However, the time it takes for DBPR to display a submitted course is outside TSRE's control.

Reporting does not renew your license

Course reporting satisfies the education portion of your renewal. You must still complete the renewal transaction and pay any fee required by DBPR. Your expiration date may not update until DBPR processes your renewal.

If your course is not showing after 72 hours

First, confirm that you are checking the correct Florida license and current renewal cycle. Then confirm that the name and license number in your TSRE course record match DBPR.

If the course is still missing 72 hours after completion—or your deadline is approaching—submit a request to TSRE Support or call (813) 333-2676 with:

• Your full name as it appears on your TSRE account
• The email address used for your enrollment
• The course title and completion date
• Your Florida real estate license number, if applicable
• A screenshot of the DBPR education record you are viewing

TSRE can verify the submission history and manually resubmit a completion when necessary. We cannot sign in to or see inside your personal DBPR account.

Finish early—do not wait until the deadline

You do not have to wait for a renewal notice to begin. You may start your required education as soon as your next license renewal cycle begins.

Finishing early gives you time to receive your completion certificate, allow DBPR to display the reported hours, correct any name or license-number mismatch, and complete the separate license-renewal payment.

If you finish at 11:59 p.m. on the deadline

The student deadline applies to when the course is successfully completed—not when the hours become visible in the DBPR portal. TSRE reports the actual completion date. The submission or DBPR display may occur later without changing that completion date.

Even with an on-time completion, DBPR's automated system may temporarily show a post-license license as Null & Void or a continuing-education license as Involuntary Inactive while the record is processed. Contact TSRE immediately if your hours do not appear or your status changes; DBPR may need to correct the license manually. Completing early is the best way to avoid this situation.

Keep your completion certificate

Florida's real estate rules require licensees to retain proof of continuing-education or post-license completion for at least two years after the end of the renewal period for which the education was claimed.
