Use this guide when you need to join a scheduled LIVE Online class, cannot find the session link, cannot hear the instructor, or lose your connection.
Looking for a Zoom link or meeting link? Open your class course in TSRE Learn and use the session link provided there. Follow the joining steps below to find the correct link for your scheduled class.
Class starting now? Call the office at (813) 333-2676 with your name, registration email, course, class date and start time, and what is preventing you from joining.

Join your scheduled class
- Check the schedule. Confirm the meeting date, start time, time zone, and any no-class dates in your registration instructions.
- Open TSRE Learn in a supported browser and select LOGIN. Use the email connected to your student registration and your Learn password. See password-reset help if needed.
- Select your class. Your LIVE Online class appears as its own course in your Learn account. Open the course for your class dates.
- Open the unit inside the class course. This displays the screen with joining links for each session of your class.
- Choose the link for the session you are attending. Session links activate 15 minutes before the scheduled class start time. The instructor must open the room before students can join.
- Once the room is open, join and test sound and display before class starts. Use speakers or headphones and a reliable internet connection. Students do not need a webcam or microphone.
- Stay for the scheduled instruction and participate. Follow the instructor's directions for chat, questions, activities, and attendance checks.
A computer or tablet gives you more room for slides, chat, and materials. Close the course on your previous device before switching. See TSRE Learn device and browser requirements.
The class link is missing, or I am waiting for class to start
- Check that you are signed in with the correct student email and have opened the LIVE Online course for your class dates.
- Check your enrollment messages, including Spam or Junk, for updated joining instructions or schedule changes.
- If the entire course is missing, use missing-course help. Do not purchase the course again to solve an access problem.
- More than 15 minutes early? The session link will not be active yet. Return within 15 minutes of the scheduled start.
- Link active but you cannot enter? The instructor must open the room first. Check that you selected the correct session and keep the page open while waiting for the instructor.
- If the scheduled start time has passed or you cannot find the correct session, call the TSRE office. Include the class date, start time, and the exact screen or message. Do not assume a waiting screen means the class has been canceled.
I cannot hear the instructor, or the video is frozen
- Check your device volume, the player or session's mute control if shown, and whether the browser tab is muted.
- Check that sound is going to the speakers or headphones you are using, rather than another connected audio device.
- If the session shows a play or audio-start control, follow its prompt. Let the instructor know through chat if chat is available.
- If the session remains frozen or silent, check your internet connection. Close duplicate class tabs and other unnecessary streaming activity, then reconnect using the steps below.
If the problem continues, report whether you can see the instructor, hear other audio on your device, and use the class chat. These details help Support identify the issue.
I was disconnected or need to switch devices
- Note the time you lost access and any error message.
- Check your connection, then close the failed class session. TSRE permits one active course-access session at a time; close the app or browser on the previous device before using another.
- Sign back in through the same Learn account and reopen your assigned session using your class instructions. If the issue occurs in the app, try a supported browser.
- Tell the instructor and TSRE when you lost access and when you returned. If you cannot reconnect, call the office promptly.
Reconnecting does not automatically resolve missed instructional time. TSRE must review attendance and the next eligible step. See missed-class guidance.
Recordings and study review
LIVE Online must be attended live. Recording access is not available. For on-demand review, TSRE recommends Pass First Try exam-prep tools, including Exam Cram videos designed for exam review and audio review. We recommend listening to the audio before class to help prepare. Check your purchase for included resources and see find your exam-prep tools.
Study tools do not replace missed live instruction. Report missed time to TSRE so attendance and the next eligible step can be reviewed.
Send details that help Support locate your class
Submit a support request with your name, registration email, course, class date and start time, device, browser or app, exact error, and the steps you tried. Include a screenshot of the error with other students' names, chat messages, and unrelated personal information hidden. Never send your password.
If you receive an email asking you to verify your support request, follow its verification link. See Contact Student Support: Submit, Verify, and Follow Up.
