Your course format determines where you take the end-of-course final exam. Find your format below.
Where to find your exam
- On-demand and self-guided courses: The exam is the final module in your course. Sign in, open the course you are completing, and go to the final module. Follow the course instructions and complete any required work before starting.
- LIVE Online courses: The exam is added to your account after TSRE reviews your attendance and exam eligibility. If the exam is not showing yet, that review may still be pending.
- In-person classes: The exam takes place during the final session of your class. Check your class schedule and follow your instructor's directions. If you missed that session, contact TSRE to arrange the next eligible step.
I can't find or start my final exam
- Check your account and course. Use the email associated with your student enrollment and open the correct course. See Where do I log in? for help choosing TSRE Learn or LEAPOnline.
- For on-demand or self-guided courses, check the final module. Review any incomplete lessons, activities, or instructions shown in your course. If the exam remains locked or unavailable, include the message you see in a support request.
- For LIVE Online, check whether attendance and eligibility still need review. If your class has ended and you need help with exam access, submit a support request with your class dates.
- If your course access has expired, see Course and Exam-Prep Access: Expiration Dates and Extension Requests.
Before you start: the exam does not pause
Once you start your final exam, it continues. Closing the browser or laptop, leaving the exam, or losing your connection does not pause the timer. Start only when you have enough uninterrupted time for your course's full exam time limit.
Use a reliable internet connection and a laptop with a charged battery, or a desktop connected to a battery backup. Check your power and internet connection before starting.
My exam closed, was interrupted, or I need another attempt
A technical issue does not automatically authorize an exam reset. TSRE must review the issue and approve a reset.
If a technical problem interrupts your exam, submit a support request with a clear description of what happened, including:
- Your name, registration email, course, and whether this was your first exam or a retake.
- The date and time of the problem, the exact error or behavior, and what you were doing when it occurred.
- Your device, browser or app, and whether you lost internet service or power.
- Any steps you took after the problem and what the exam shows now.
- Screenshots of the error if needed to document the issue. Leave exam questions, answers, passwords, and unrelated personal information out of screenshots.
For urgent help, call the office at (813) 333-2676. Support may need additional information before deciding whether to approve a reset. For an unsuccessful attempt or another exam question, contact TSRE to confirm your next eligible step. See End of Course Exam for passing scores, time limits, and course-specific retake rules.
