The best TSRE affiliate recommendations help someone take a useful next step toward a real estate career. Share relevant information, your honest experience, and a properly tagged link—not just a coupon.
This guide covers everyday sharing for approved affiliates. Your account's current terms and assigned offers still apply. Start in the TSRE affiliate portal and review the Affiliate Program Terms.
Start with one helpful link on your website
If you have a real estate website, an easy starting point is a link labeled Start a real estate career. Place it somewhere relevant, such as a careers or resources page.
You can direct readers to either:
- The TSRE homepage: a simple introduction to the school and its offerings.
- The Florida licensing guide: our recommended starting point for someone exploring how to get licensed, because it explains the next steps before they choose a course.
Use your affiliate link—not an untagged website address—so the referral can be associated with your account under the program's rules.
Easiest option: copy your portal link
Sign in to the affiliate portal. On Home, copy the ready-to-use referral link and use it as your website button or text-link destination. Copy the full link exactly as provided.
Link to a specific TSRE page
Open Marketing Tools and find Product Links. Paste the TSRE page address into the link generator, then copy Your generated link. For a career-start link, use:
https://tampaschoolofrealestate.com/pages/florida-license
The generator is the easiest way to avoid mistyping your referral tag. Keep any additional parameters supplied by the portal.
For readers comfortable editing URLs
These are examples only. Replace YOUR_AFFILIATE_TAG with the exact referral tag assigned in your account:
Homepage:
https://tampaschoolofrealestate.com/?ref=YOUR_AFFILIATE_TAG
Florida licensing guide:
https://tampaschoolofrealestate.com/pages/florida-license?ref=YOUR_AFFILIATE_TAG
If a URL already has a question mark and other parameters, add &ref=YOUR_AFFILIATE_TAG instead. Put the referral parameter before any # page anchor, and do not add a second referral tag to a link that already has one.
Your referral tag and promo code are not necessarily the same. A tagged link does not by itself promise a discount or guarantee commission. Use your account's assigned links, current offer details, and program terms.
The portal also has cart-building tools for more specific recommendations. Detailed link-generation and cart-sharing workflows are separate topics; you do not need them to start with one useful website link.
Simple wording you can adapt
Choose a message that fits the page and helps the reader understand where the link goes.
Start a real estate career
Suggested text: “Exploring a career in Florida real estate? Learn about the licensing steps and course options at Tampa School of Real Estate.”
Button: “Start a real estate career”
Destination: Your tagged link to the Florida licensing guide.
Thinking about a real estate career?
Suggested text: “Not sure where to begin? Start with TSRE's guide to getting your Florida real estate license.”
Button: “Explore the licensing steps”
Destination: Your tagged link to the Florida licensing guide.
These are starter copy examples, not permission to claim that TSRE sponsors your website or business. Add a clear affiliate disclosure near the recommendation and link.
Share useful original content
A thoughtful article, video, email, or social post can be more helpful than a standalone discount announcement. For example:
- Describe your own journey from considering real estate to choosing a school and studying.
- Share what you personally found useful in a TSRE course or study resource.
- Explain questions you wish you had asked before starting.
- Introduce the licensing guide to readers exploring a career change.
Speak in your own voice. Only describe yourself as a TSRE alumnus or discuss a personal result if it is true. Do not invent testimonials, guarantee a passing score, or promise a license, job, income, or business success. Check current TSRE pages before mentioning prices, dates, or promotions.
You do not need to speak on TSRE's behalf. The goal is a useful, authentic recommendation to people who trust your perspective.
Disclose your affiliate relationship clearly
Readers should understand your financial connection before acting on the recommendation. Where accurate, plain wording can be:
“I'm a TSRE affiliate and may earn a commission if you enroll through my link.”
Place the disclosure with the recommendation, close to the link or code—not only on a separate policy page or in a website footer. In a video, disclose the relationship in the video itself, not just the description; make it easy to see and hear.
Also follow any required website-identification notice in the program agreement, including section 10. The sample above does not replace a program-required notice. See the FTC's disclosure guidance.
Use images and TSRE branding correctly
For a graphic, the same two starter concepts work well: Start a real estate career or Thinking about a real estate career?, followed by a short invitation to explore TSRE's licensing guide. Link the image or its accompanying button to your tagged TSRE page and place the affiliate disclosure nearby.
Use only TSRE-supplied artwork authorized for that placement, or submit your custom design for written approval before using TSRE branding. The copy examples above are not downloadable, pre-approved banner files. Find source logos and approval instructions in TSRE Logos and Brand Use: Guidelines for Vendors and Affiliates.
TSRE branding must relate to an official TSRE product, class, or event within the permission granted. Do not use the TSRE logo, brand assets, or TSRE-identifying color scheme to promote or imply endorsement of another business, brokerage, product, service, study group, or event without express written approval from Tampa School of Real Estate Inc.
For example:
- A permitted TSRE course promotion may link to the official TSRE course using your affiliate link.
- An independent exam-review study group is not an official TSRE event merely because its organizer is an affiliate or alumnus. Do not use TSRE branding to promote it without written approval.
- Do not add TSRE branding to brokerage recruiting materials or an unrelated event invitation in a way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement.
You may endorse TSRE through truthful affiliate recommendations within the program's permissions. That does not mean TSRE endorses you. Do not describe yourself as a TSRE representative, speak for TSRE, or claim a TSRE endorsement publicly or privately without express written authorization. A disclaimer does not replace approval for otherwise unauthorized brand use.
Do not share codes on coupon sites
The affiliate terms prohibit posting affiliate links or promo codes on dedicated coupon-sharing sites. They also prohibit click-to-reveal coupon tactics. Do not submit your code to coupon directories or recruit others to place it there.
If your coupon appears on a coupon-sharing site, your code may be deactivated and your account blocked or terminated under the program rules. Building useful content elsewhere does not make coupon-site posting permissible.
Requesting a review or appeal
If your account is affected, you may request a review and provide evidence that you genuinely promote TSRE through appropriate, substantive marketing—not simply coupon listings. Include:
- Your affiliate account identifier and the affected code.
- Links to your original website pages, articles, videos, emails, or other relevant promotions, with screenshots or copies where needed.
- Publication dates and examples showing how you explain or recommend TSRE.
- The coupon-site listing and what you know about how it appeared.
- Any removal requests or other corrective action, particularly if someone copied the code without your permission.
Use the support route below; do not post account information publicly. TSRE reviews the circumstances and evidence individually. An appeal does not guarantee reinstatement, restoration of a code, or payment of disputed commissions, and it does not create an exception allowing coupon-site promotion.
Check before you share
- Open the link and confirm it reaches the intended official TSRE page. Do not make a self-purchase to test commission tracking.
- Use your assigned tag or generated link, not another affiliate's code.
- Describe only the current offer your account is authorized to share. Do not promise that every product or payment qualifies.
- Keep the recommendation truthful, the affiliate disclosure visible, and the relationship clear.
- Follow the current program terms. Do not launch pay-per-click advertising: the current agreement prohibits it.
- Request written approval for TSRE-branded custom materials or any proposed third-party endorsement.
