If you did not pass, first identify which exam you took. A school final and the Florida state licensing exam have different retest procedures. Then use your results to build a specific study plan.
School end-of-course exam
Review End of Course Exam and the TSRE Retake Guarantee. Retest eligibility, waiting periods, and repeat-course requirements depend on your course and exam dates. Confirm your next eligible step before attempting another final.
If a technical problem interrupted the exam, contact support with the course, date, and error message. Do not assume it was only a practice attempt or that a new attempt is automatically available.
Florida state licensing exam
Read your Pearson VUE result report and the current State Exam guide for retesting, eligibility, and official exam-review options. If you want an official review or to challenge a question, check those instructions promptly before scheduling another attempt.
Build a recovery plan
- Choose two or three weak topics. Use the feedback available to you, plus your own practice results. Avoid trying to reread everything in one sitting.
- Explain each missed concept. Write the rule in your own words and identify why the tempting alternative does not fit.
- Review the matching lesson. Use the textbook, course instruction, or exam-prep resource to resolve the gap.
- Try fresh questions. Work without notes first, then review. Include guesses in your error log even when they were correct.
- Check the pattern over several sessions. Look for fewer repeated mistakes and improved explanations, not only a higher score on the same questions.

Ask TSRE Support for help with your course name, the type of exam, attempt date, and topics you need to review. Share topic areas, not secure state-exam questions.
