Most courses require passing an end-of-course exam to earn course credit. Use the requirements for your specific course below. TSRE's retake guarantee runs for one year from the original registration date, subject to its terms and available space. FREC's course-exam retest window runs from the original exam date. These are separate deadlines. Review School Policies and contact TSRE to confirm your next eligible exam or class.

Course completion and the state exam
The end-of-course exam is separate from the state licensing exam. Sales associate and broker prelicensing certificates are valid for two years from course completion for state-exam purposes. If the certificate expires, the student must retake the course. Returning students can register with the same email and use promo code ALUMNI. Keep completion certificates for at least five years, including after becoming licensed. See certificate validity, recordkeeping, and DBPR reporting.
Arrange the next step
Submit a support request or email info@tsre.us with your name, registration email, course, original exam date, any retest date, and the help needed. TSRE will confirm the next eligible exam or class and any applicable registration requirement.
